Sydonne Warren
Sydonne Warren is a muralist, entrepreneur, and community advocate originally from Jamaica and now based in Canada. Her large-scale murals highlight diversity, Black heritage, and women’s stories, bringing life and meaning to public spaces. She mentors emerging artists, runs hands-on mural workshops, and hosts Paint with Syd, an event that makes art accessible to everyone. Outside of art, she has spoken at TEDx, coached pageant contestants, and won titles like Mrs. Calgary and Mrs. Canada Globe. She also created Calgary’s first mural camp, giving young artists real-world experience. Her work continues to inspire and bring people together.
