Hey Sis, You’re In The Right Place

When African Women Talk is a space for Black women to connect and grow. Whether you’re figuring things out, building something new, or stepping into your next level, you don’t have to do it alone. There’s room for you here.

A Place to Flourish

Who We Are

A Community That Celebrates You

When African Women Talk is a supportive community of Black women who uplift each other.

Here, every voice matters, and every journey is valued. Together, we are a community of empowered women who are confident in their abilities, unafraid to advocate for themselves and others, and actively pursue their goals and dreams.

What We Do

How We Stay Connected

Women Talk Wednesday

A monthly check-in for your growth. We talk career, business, money, wellness, and everything in between.

Book Club

We read, reflect, and have honest conversations about the ideas shaping our lives.

Signature Events

We meet up in different ways. Sometimes it’s brunch, sometimes it’s a gala, other times it’s just good conversation. What stays the same is the feeling that you’re in the right room, with the right people.

Build the WAWT App

We’re launching the WAWT App, a digital home where women of color access mentorship, resources, and community from anywhere. It expands our reach, deepens our connection, and makes sisterhood borderless.

To bring it to life, we’re raising $50,000. One thousand women giving $50 each will fully fund the app. This isn’t just a donation; it’s infrastructure, access, and legacy in motion.

WAWT Impact Box

The WAWT Impact Box is a curated collection of products from Black woman-owned businesses across Canada, designed to drive visibility, sales, and meaningful economic impact.

This is not charity, it’s circulation. Every box strengthens Black-owned supply chains and supports women building sustainable businesses during Black History Month and beyond.

OUR IMPACT

What Happens When Black Women Come Together?

There is a shift in the community. Across Canada, WAWT women are starting businesses, stepping into leadership, and supporting each other in real ways. The Legacy Creative Hub carries this forward by creating space for collaboration, creativity, and new ideas.
