A Place to Flourish

WHO WE ARE

A Community That Celebrates You

When African Women Talk is a supportive community of Black women who uplift each other.

Here, every voice matters, and every journey is valued. Together, we are a community of empowered women who are confident in their abilities, unafraid to advocate for themselves and others, and actively pursue their goals and dreams.

Our Vision, Mission & Goal

When African Women Talk is dedicated to empowering Black women across Canada, building a community rooted in connection, resilience, and shared purpose.

Our mission is to create inclusive spaces where Black women feel seen, heard, and celebrated—whether through storytelling, advocacy, or community events. We work to amplify voices, challenge stereotypes, and inspire collective action.

Our goal is to drive lasting change by fostering unity, highlighting achievements, and equipping Black women with the resources and support needed to thrive and lead in all areas of life.
