Adebayo Chris Katiiti (PCD) is an innovative and passionate community builder, social justice
advocate, and human rights champion dedicated to holistic well-being and liberation-centered
justice.Founder and Executive Director of Raricanow, visionary behind the EWAKA housing
initiative, the first of its own in Canada provide a safe home for 2slgbtiq+ Refugees Newcomers.,
He is a graduate professional Counsellor and life coach with a depth in creating brave and safe
environments.
Recognized globally for outstanding contributions to human rights and community leadership,
Adebayo has received numerous accolades, including the 2023 Lieutenant Governor Salma
Lakhani Award for Leadership in Pluralism, the 2023 Human Rights Award from the John
Humphrey Centre for Human Rights, and most recently, was named among Alberta’s Top 30
Under 30 by the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation, Change Maker Award from Edmonton
Pride Festival and honoured with the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of his
dedicated service to social justice and the community.
He is the CEO and founder of Katiiti Inclusive Wellness, Adebayo leads a healing, coaching,
and consulting company that provides executive coaching and therapy to queer professionals
and high-level executives, guiding them toward their true identity and fulfillment. Adebayo
specializes in leadership, spirituality, cultural competency, diversity, equity and inclusion,
inclusive wellness, and anti-racism.
Beyond advocacy and leadership, Adebayo is a multi-talented athlete, artist, musician, and
filmmaker driven by a commitment to positive systemic change. Their work continues to inspire,
uplift, and create transformative impact across communities.
